This qualification is relevant to individuals operating remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) within visual line of sight (VLOS), below 400 feet above ground level (AGL), in day visual meteorological conditions (VMC), outside of controlled airspace, greater than 3 nautical miles from an aerodrome, outside of populous areas.

Remote pilot duties include applying technical and non-technical aviation skills and knowledge within RPAS operational environments.

This qualification reflects the roles of aviation management personnel performing ground operations duties in support of commercial or Defence aviation flight operations.
Aviation management duties include applying technical and non-technical aviation skills and knowledge in support of a wide range of aerodrome and air transport operations, including passenger, charter, cargo, emergency service and government operations.
Individuals working at this level will apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, judgement and defined responsibility in known or changing contexts within broad but established parameters.


Fashion Design

»Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to work in applied design and production roles within the clothing and fashion industry.

This qualification is suitable for workers producing fashion products where a basic understanding of design and marketing as well as sewing skills for specialist machinists, support roles in patternmaking, production of digitally printed or embroidered fabrics or garments is needed.
Items to be produced would include a single or small range of products. This qualification is particularly suitable for those who are self-employed undertaking low volume production of items for local distribution outlets, for example, markets


Fitness Instructor, Group Instructor

»Certificate III in Fitness

This qualification equips you to be a Gym Instructor, Fitness Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor. Becoming a fitness instructor is your first step into the fitness industry. Fitness instructors are involved in the assessment, training and supervision of clients in fitness centres and gyms.


Ageing Support

»Certificate IV in Ageing Support

This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.

Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.
Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.


Commercial Cookery

»Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use a defined and limited range of hospitality operational skills.

They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks using practical skills and basic industry knowledge. They work under direct supervision.

»Certificate IV in Patisserie

This qualification reflects the role of pastry chefs who have a supervisory or team leading role in the kitchen. They operate independently or with limited guidance from others and use discretion to solve non-routine problems.

This qualification provides a pathway to work in various organisations where patisserie products are prepared and served, including patisseries, restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.



»Diploma of Remedial Massage

This qualification reflects the role of massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. It does not reflect the role of a remedial massage therapist. Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service.

This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.

At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad directions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers and/or case management; program coordination or the development of new business opportunities.

»Advanced Diploma of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering

This qualification provides competencies to design and validate/evaluate refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and systems, manage risk, estimate and manage projects and provide technical advice/sales. It includes regulatory requirements for purchasing and handling refrigerants.



»Advanced Diploma of Nursing

This qualification reflects the role of enrolled nurses with advanced skills who work in a specialised area of nursing practice. At this level, enrolled nurses integrate and adapt specialised, technical and theoretical knowledge to address a diverse range of clinical situations and challenges in their area of specialisation. They contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practice using research and participation in broader organisational quality processes. Enrolled nurses retain responsibility for their own actions while remaining accountable to the Registered Nurse/Midwife for all delegated functions.
